PEDIATRIC HIV / AIDS PROJECT A (PediHIV)
Priority: 1
Status: Authorized, waiting for funds.
Executive Summary: The first project will be a Pediatric HIV / AIDS project (“PediHIV”). The PediHIV is a demonstration project that will support 1000 children (and families) who are HIV+ and their families. This project has initial projected annual costs of $8.0 M to achieve the following:
* Supply natural immune support products and ensure compliance thereof
* To monitor through research and development efficacy of such support
* To educate affected population and communities re: immune support and HIV
The PediHIV will also support local health and wellness clinics to ensure long term positive cash flow to support local health efforts and to ensure long term financial support of PediHIV in their local region in years that follow. This financial approach will also include local populations of indigenous people, engendering local and individual commerce and economic growth and development.
Favorable initial discussions have been held with various local health organizations and AIDS support groups. The Foundation Team will manage and coordinate distribution, educational, and research operations with local personnel and first phase feasibility (unless other recommendations are made by THI).
