MISSION STATEMENT:
The Kids4Life Foundation recognizes the enormous health and wellness needs of immune-stressed and compromised children throughout the World, including but not exclusive of those children with HIV and AIDS and children in state of chronic malnutrition.
The Foundation also recognizes that a natural integrative approach to health and wellness through the use of neutraceuticals would be of significant potential benefit to these children.
Therefore, the Foundation is created to achieve the following goals:
(1) To identify those populations of children throughout the World at immune risk, e.g. children with HIV, with malnutrition, with history of sexual abuse and neglect.
(2) To supply such populations of children with quality of life supports and natural immune support products, those that have shown some level of efficacy in supporting the immune system, at no cost to the child or family.
(3) To support peer-reviewed studies in the efficacy of such products in these populations, to provide evidence of and education to other health professsionals for potential wider use of these natural approaches to health and wellness in other populations.
(4) To support other aspects of quality of life for these severely stressed children, e.g. support of orphanges for HIV+ children, support of NPO such as Safe Harbor Project (see http://www.joy.org) to effectuate change in the field of the child sex slave industry.
(5) To build and staff and support small health and wellness clinics in regions throughout the world with endemic pediatric HIV/AIDS/malnutrition. These clinics will support the aforementioned goals of natural immune support and support of quality of life of affected children.
(6) To expand this model of support of immune stressed populations to all age groups in high risk regions of the World, e.g., adult populations throughout the African and Asian continents and Central and South Americas. As we help these populations heal, we will in turn prevent more children from suffering the scurges of immune suppression and early death.
